May 3, 2007 - "Women, Citizenship and the City: Women as Artists, Patrons and Subjects in Chicago's School Mural Movement" by Professor Sylvia Rhor, Carlow University held at Nettlehorst School, Chicago, IL
March 23, 2007 - restoration celebration held at Oakton Elementary School, 436 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, IL to unveil the restored Oakton School murals depicting the story of King Charlemagne and the Song of Roland. Honored guests included Illinois State Representative Julie Hamos, City of Evanston Mayor Lorraine Morton, Dist. 65 School Board President Mary A. Erickson, and Chicago Conservation Center CEO Heather Becker.
